Blue Mountain Cigars began in April 1995 when cigar connoisseur and entrepreneur Marvin Wright started a cigar factory with his wife Jacqueline. Wright was born and raised in Jamaica. He was the son of an entrepreneur who grew tobacco. He spend many years in Cuba where developing his passion and appreciation for premium cigars and eventually landed in Nicaragua. Today in Wright makes cigars in Nicaragua using many of the old Jamaican traditions of cigars making as well as many of the techniques and philosophies he learned from growers and master blenders Cuba.
